Jan-B Banson’s Testimonial Re: Fr. Pio and Healing

 

It has been a common reaction from friends that I meet now how surprised they are and even shocked at how fast my recovery has been after having suffered a brain haemorrhage on June 1, 2006. I collapsed that day at work at around 3:00 in the afternoon. I was rushed to The Medical City Hospital and deteriorated so fast that by the time they had wheeled me into the operating room, approximately four hours after the initial seizure, I was comatose.

A congenital anomaly in my brain called an arterio venous malformation or AVM had raptured and the neurosurgeons successfully excised the malformation and drained the blood which gave my brain quite a blow. It was while I was at the ICU in a semi-conscious comatose state that the glove of Fr. Pio had been brought to me. I was battling several infections at that time for 2 weeks. I was being given mega doses of antibiotics to heal my pneumonia, phlebitis and a wound infection.

My mother and my wife had prayed over me, pressing the glove of Fr. Pio against my head and the different parts of my body. I was not aware then of all the prayers being offered on my behalf. It is now that I realize through the friends and acquaintances I meet in different places how many had truly been praying for me. I can really attest to the power of prayers. The combined power from prayer warriors all offering their intentions for my recovery have brought me to my state of health today.

Fr. Pio is surely one of the powerful intercessors who made my speedy recovery possible. I can say my healing is a miracle. I am grateful to the countless that have prayed for me, especially to the hundreds who I am surprised to know even knew of my illness and have prayed for me. Thank you to my mother for making it possible for me to experience the healing touch of Fr. Pio.

Lord, thank you Jesus for this second chance to share myself with others to be a change maker and speak of Your love and mercy.

Me now born again a Born Again Catholic.

Thanks be to You God, Thanks be to You true and One Trinity One and highest Deity, holy and One unity. To Jesus Christ the King. Thank You Jesus for giving me a second life to serve You by telling others how you saved my life serving and loving You for eternity.

    Thank you for this inspiring testimonial, JanB. I, too, believe in the power of prayer, especially group prayer. I know for a fact that many people, myself included, were praying for you when you had the brain hemorrhage back in 2006. Can’t believe that was 14 years ago.
